Bugant Nandin LLC was established in 2007 in Bugant Village, Selenge Province, Mongolia. The company operates in several areas, including trade and services, freight transportation, tree nursery operations, reforestation, forest restoration, wood product manufacturing, and technical and biological land rehabilitation.
Our company employs more than 150 engineers, technical specialists and professional staff across its operations. We are committed to maintaining stable employment, strengthening professional capacity, and ensuring the long-term and sustainable development of our activities.
Building on our experience in environmental restoration, reforestation and tree nursery operations, as well as our professional team and technical capacity, we implement major projects across Mongolia.
Bugant Nandin LLC has continuously developed its tree nursery operations since 2007. Between 2021 and 2024, under Mongolia’s “Billion Trees” National Movement, we cultivated seeds of various native broadleaf and coniferous tree species adapted to Mongolia’s climate, increasing the availability of seedlings for reforestation and forest restoration.
Today, our 15-hectare tree nursery produces approximately 17 million seedlings of 19 tree species, including both broadleaf and coniferous species. These seedlings are prepared for reforestation, forest restoration and green infrastructure projects.
Between 2022 and 2025, we carried out reforestation, forest restoration and green infrastructure projects in Selenge, Tuv and Uvurkhangai Provinces. During this period, a total of 2,235.7 hectares were reforested using 4,225,413 broadleaf and coniferous tree seedlings.
Bugant Nandin LLC considers the rehabilitation of land degraded by mining not only as a technical requirement, but also as a long-term investment in restoring natural ecosystems.
We implement technical and biological rehabilitation as an integrated process, taking into account:
landform → soil structure → water regime → vegetation recovery → ecosystem stability
Our projects focus on restoring land that has been degraded and abandoned due to mining activities, reducing soil degradation and contamination, and establishing stable ecosystems that are closer to their natural condition.
To date, we have completed technical rehabilitation of more than 1,000 hectares of degraded land.
